LATE is Scotland's first Fully fully inclusive club night -Dates n Mates, a Glasgow based dating agency for people with learning difficulties, and C-Change, a supported living charity, to launch Scotland’s first and only inclusive nightclub. With music from Capital FM radio DJ Garry Spence and DJ Bowers, who is supported by C-Change, LATE provides people with and without disabilities with the opportunity to enjoy a safe, exciting nightclub experience.
DNEX, the North’s largest independent living event will take place on September 21st and 22nd 2016 at Newcastle Racecourse, opening at 10 A.M. daily. DNEX will be opened by acclaimed Metro Radio DJ and ‘Night Owls’ host Alan Robson.

The Sporting Bear’s Motor Club has raised a staggering £7,000 for The Wingate Centre at this year’s annual Power and Speed Festival held at Cholmondeley Castle. The centre, based in South Cheshire, runs residential holidays for children and young adults with physical and learning disabilities from the local area and beyond.

What: Kidz to Adultz Wales is one of the largest, free events dedicated to children and young adults up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs, their families and the professionals who work with them in Wales and further afield.
Over 100 exhibitors will offer advice, support and information on mobility, communication, equipment, funding, technology, education, toys and learning aids, transport, beds and seating, sports and leisure and much more.
Steve Edwards is no stranger to the Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon having ran 19 of them spanning back to 1987. Grab your wand and prepare to hop on your Nimbus 3000, as a stunning exhibition called Illustrating Harry Potter comes to Hannahs at Seale- Hayne (just outside Newton Abbot) this summer (3 July – 25 September). The exhibition will showcase original illustrations, sketches, models and final prints from the brand new edition of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, illustrated by Jim Kay.
A new diabetes education course to help people with type 2 diabetes is being rolled out across Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Delivered by Leicestershire-based Spirit Healthcare, the EMPOWER course uses group exercises in a relaxed setting. It has been successful in inspiring initial cohorts to try reducing their portion sizes and make healthier choices in order to manage their diabetes more easily and effectively.

Third Stoke Mandeville In2 Sport Camp on Saturday 2nd July 2016, Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury
The In2 Sport Camp is for those aged 18+ with a physical impairment. The camp will provide the opportunity to receive coaching in a number of sports. Provisional sports include archery, basketball, boccia, cue sports, field athletics, new age kurling, shooting, table tennis and tennis.
Timings for the weekend are Saturday 10:00 – 17:00.
The entry fee is £9.00.
Two leading sight loss charities will be touring the Highlands to promote local support available for blind and partially sighted people. Led by Sight Action and Scottish War Blinded, the roadshow will visit public venues across the Highlands in June, from Fort William to Thurso and the Kyle of Lochalsh to Aviemore.
This summer 60-year-old Robert Groves from Crawley will be embarking on an extraordinary 33 day charity hand-cycle of the UK coastline, covering 2,500 miles of England’s coastline to raise money for Hand-Cycling in Crawley. Robert, who starts his challenge on 31 July, has been in training for months at The Gym Crawley ahead of his challenge. Starting at Brighton Pier, Rob is due to finish in London on 1st September where he will be greeted by David Cameron at Number 10 Downing Street.
Eikon Exhibition Centre hosts extensive display of vehicles for disabled people
Disabled motorists and their families can explore their motoring options and find out about the Motability Scheme at The Big Event in Northern Ireland this June. Showcasing the largest display of vehicles for disabled people in Northern Ireland, The Big Event is coming to the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June 2016 following a successful previous event in Belfast in 2014.
