Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset has launched a new Large Print guide to help people with visual impairment to enjoy their visit to the park more; by giving them information in a format that makes it easier to read and understand.

The guides are specifically aimed at visitors with some sight, but who have difficulty with everyday activities, like reading and recognising faces, such as Macular Degeneration or Glaucoma. The guides may also be beneficial for visitors who have dyslexia or where English is their second language.

A new and updated guide on meeting the needs of disabled customers and clients is being launched on the 7th March at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.

Welcoming Disabled Customers has been developed by Business Disability Forum, a not-for-profit membership organisation, in collaboration with businesses, disability organisations and people with conditions covered in the guide, and with support from Merlin Entertainments plc.

With 1 in 5 customers or clients estimated to have a disability or long-term condition, the guide offers advice to businesses on how to ensure all customers receive the very best level of customer service.
