Disability sports charity Path to Success is gearing up for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics by planning its annual gala dinner.
Following its successful wheelchair basketball challenge, which raised £20,000, the charity has continued to offer financial support to women who aspire to represent Great Britain at the Paralympics across four major disability sports: para- badminton, para powerlifting, wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basketball.
The charity sponsors 12 female para-athletes who are seeking to realise their dream of winning Gold for Team GB. It has pledged £100K to the campaign over three years, which will cover the cost of coaching, training, travel, equipment and specialised sports wheelchairs for the sponsored athletes.
Meanwhile, Path to Success’s annual fundraising gala will be hosted on 25 March in London. This will be an evening of dinner, entertainment, and dancing in support of Empowering Great Britain’s Talented Female Athletes.
This year, the theme of the event will take guests on a special journey to Tokyo 2020 and beyond.
